I want to cry a bit.... My hair is thin/thinning this past whole year, and I was aware of it but I didn't think too much of it since I kept it short, and now I'm letting it grow long. Then my mother said "I thought the same thing your hair is thinning... just like your grandpa".

He had thin hair all his life, my mom has thin hair, my dad had thick hair that turn thinner. I had really thick hair up to about 16, and now it's just thin. It's disturbing after I get out of the shower, since it shows how badly thin it is.

Is there ANYTHING I can do to thicken my hair, pills, medicine I don't know. I cannot have thin hair, and I am only 18 years old I wasn't expecting this until another decade. I am not sure if this is the male baldness case, but it can't thin out within one year....

It's still in the normal range, since it looks like normal thin hair, but when it has parts it really shows. It's only on the crown area.

HRT, Minoxidil, Hair thickening shampoos can help slow or stop hair thinning.  Do what you can now.  Don't wait till you are my age when the only thing tha will help is God's intervention.  ;D

Do you think an Antiandrogen would reverse it and make my hair back to the way it was? Or is the damage already done.

You are young and it may reverse itself.  But genetics has a lot to do with it.  Look at your Mom.  Just do something now.  Even if it is just shampoo and conditioner.

There are hair follicles that are dormant and those that are dead, dead, dead.
When they are dead there is no helping them possible.
Hormones, anti-androgens, orchi/SRS, Minoxidil may bring life back to the dormant follicles.
They also prevent the healthy follicles from dying.

Note that HRT actually makes the hair strands themselves finer.
