Another Question

http://endablog.wordpress.com/2009/12/06/another-question/

And also more than fair.  This one comes from a comment by 'ginasf' to the trans-erasive elitism of Pedro Julio Serrano as posted at Bilerico.

Personally, I find this entire essay of Mr. Serrano's rather disturbing. It's yet another attempt to erase the transgender aspects of someone's life. Interesting many who knew him have described how Jorge was often cross-dressed (and evidently, also when he did sexwork) but literally no photos of him presenting as a woman are every released? Do such images not exist or is there a real attempt to picture him as a cisgender young gay male and not someone for whom cross-gender representation was an integral part of their life?

Now I'm willing to acknowledge that its possible that, if any photos are being concealed, such concealment could be on the part of Jorge's family and not Puerto Rican gay activists.
