SRS improvement.(thoughts)

I have to some extent a "fix-it" sort of mind... This actually led me into studying mechacical engineering in my first years of colledge...but I ended up changing to math because...its hard to do as much thinking as is required when you barely feel happy with yourself....

But anyways.

i have been thinking that it is definitly possible to improve upon SRS.
While i have been considering improvements on Male to female stuff. i'm actually pretty content with what there is now. So I have been doing more thinking on the Female to male surgery.

Now Its been a while since i have researched that so i imagine that some of it may have changed.

but I thought that I saw somwthing at one point about a mechanical implant that allowed for hardening of phalis. Has that been done or was that a hypothetical thing I read?

nonetheless, I am completly convinsed that this is possible. i can think of probably about 50 different mechanisms that could provide an erection.

But I havn't only been considering mechanical implants. i think it may be posible to allow for errection by organic reconstruction as well. but that may be harder.

one thing that I have considered is that with FtM one must extend the nervus system and "add", whereas with MtF it is easier because you have excess to work with. Along with this thought I have considered some other surgeries where doner sights were enlaged by adding sub-whatever material that stretched the sight. While it may take longer, I wonder if it is possible to perform similar procedure on a FtM phalis, to extend it.
The main problem still lies in how one is to cause organic erection of the phalis. i wonder though if it may be possible to do this by some how increasing the amount of blood in the person's system. That could be done with drugs likely. Also increase in pressure of blood could have similar results...but then there are health issues to consider with that. i have considered that an increase in amount of blood and thus alloance for possible errection might be inabled simply by the removal of some blood using part of the body such as the breasts, which would be perfect, but also fingers or toes or something  .... But then there would be a need for someway to tell the body to direct the blood to a specific area.

of course another thing that would be wonderful for both of our kind... would be transplantation. (i.e) "I'll give you mine if you give me yours"... which i could see as being more likely not to far in the future....

I dunno, i need to look more into the workings of the various systems involved...

For me, the only thing that would help is if we had a health care system like the UK or Canada.  But it will never happen.  Yes it is available and yes it is fairly good.  The guys can even have a implant that allows for erection, but I am not sure if it works.  It does for Gms.  But it always comes down to $$$.  No wonder some of our brothers and sisters take their own lives.  It is sometimes to far out of reach.

A sociological concept (that I've no idea what's called in English) suggests that society breaks down for those who live in one where the ideal doesn't come with any means to obtain it.
I read that in my school book and the thoughts of all the transfolk I know that suffer depression and suicidal thoughts (and almost all of them have at least a history of that) flashed through my mind.

Transplants are too easily rejected.

There's always meta. Now if only there were a good way to enlarge the clitoris/penis. That would take some biological experimentation though.

Maybe at some point we'll be able to make these parts out of stem cells. That would be great, although complex.

The more you learn, the better your position to learn more, getting faster and faster all the time. And the more we learn, the more we are capable of doing.

Things which once seemed like quaint peculiarities have been probed by technology to the point where it is impossible to consider society without them. Something like a new principle of cell growth or replication can filter down into literally hundreds of fields, and at incredible speed.

What this means is that the chances for us are very good. You never know where the next big advancement will come from, but rest assured it is coming.

I am very confident that I will have the real deal by the time I leave this world (whenever that will be).

The question is, because there are not many "nice" options for ftms, are there scientists and researchers trying to improve on already available methods or even trying to create new ones? And if there are, how many are actually dedicating themselves to helping tgs? And do they have the right intentions, to help others(without being selfish and focusing on the money)?

There are many transphobes in todays society. Its hard to get support for the lgb part of the community, let alone the t part. Who out there, is willing to help transgenders out? Who is going to bring on the next big thing?

Makes me want to study that field of science, to make our own miracle instead of just waiting around for one.

After seeing the post surgical pictures of the various options available now for FTMs, I can't say that I'm rushing to get in line. If my mother, and millions of other people world wide, can receive organ donations with minimal complications.. Why can't FTMs? I would gladly take anti virals for the rest of my life to have what I should have been born with. It seems more the case of no one is trying to rather than it's impossible.

Honestly, there's not a lot of people out there in society ready to jump and, pardon my crudeness, help 'women get a dick' (since yes, so many are transphobic and would see it just that way), but there's plenty who'd sympathize with and pour money and research time into the cause of helping some guy get his junk back.

My presumption is that any sort of 'awesome new procedure' for bottom surgery that we get will be adapted from something developed to help cis-men recover their damaged or destroyed genitals.

Thank you for the correction, I don't know what I was smoking when I wrote that. They do shorten your life. The list of side effects on my moms meds is amazing. Then again, for some this is a life or death situation already. To myself atleast to be able to have that last puzzle piece, and for it to be fully functional.. totally worth the medication side effects if it were possible.
