Mark

I've been creeping the forums for a while now, and since the all the cool kids are doing it, i figured its time to formally introduce myself.

Hi guys. My names Mark. I'm 20 years old, 21 in about 7 weeks. I only recently found out about GID and the transgender community. I'm two months into realizing i don't have a "problem" but a mental disorder (if you want to call it that). So far, I have already learned a lot from you guys and from your post; so thanks. Hopefully as i go through my experiences and transition ill be able to help some of you guys also. Looking forward to giving and receiving advice here as I start this new chapter.

Hi Mark, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 3800 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another brother. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out

Blessed Be.

This is true. It's believed we're exposed to a cocktail of too much of a certain hormone (T for FTMs, E for MTFs) in the womb while our brains are developing. So, the body may say female (or male) but the brain developed to be a male's (female's).

Even though the reasons aren't completely solved the medical community has proved that it's not a form of mental illness. So Mark, don't let people think you're mentally ill. And welcome. :)
"In this one of many possible worlds, all for the best, or some bizarre test?
It is what it is—and whatever.
Time is still the infinite jest."
