hi guys.
well, for those times i want to present a masculine persona (which is most of the time) I bind, put on men's wear, etc. my hair is appropriate. everything looks good except for one thing. my behind. i have what's been called a 'cheerleader butt.' i have a slim build. 5'6'' and 130 lbs, but this behind of mine really kills the guy look. i know some men do have more rounded behinds, but i feel like mine really screams "feminine!"
any kind of weight training/manners of dress/other suggestions out there? i wear loose jeans with a slightly longer inseam to help. the long shirt look doesn't look good on me. i think i wish i had a flat butt more than just about anything else.
finally see what's beneath
everything i am and hope to be

you could try wearing looser pants or try layering your boxers (or whatever) to make it less shapely

Man, I feel you. I have what they call a baseball players butt.
I sag my pants to help, it works a lil.
Like you said, long shirts don't look good... cuz there's like a lump right there lol and then the shirt sticks out at the bottom. I also like to wear darker jeans, idk if that helps. I don't rly worry bout it. No one notices unless they take a good look, then they tell me to pull up my pants so they could see my big butt. Haha.

Basically sag the pants some, wear something with a straight leg. I've got the same problem, and I usually end up going for carpenter jeans. Good luck.

i hav the same problem but i just wear baggy jeans and you cant tell. perhaps look into a bottom compressor. similar to a chest binder but for the lower section. i havent tried one but seen them when i was ordering my chest binder. its at http://ftm.underworks.com/. i believe its at the bottom, last item on the page.

Take accent from your lower half and bring it up higher. Wear drab(er) clothes for pants and brighter colors or accents as shirt stuff.  It may help.

looser pants, darker colors are slimming, and avoid patterns (the disruption in the patterns will make your backside more noticeable). Also, things like an overly large, chunky belt helps if wearing a shirt that allows you to see the belt.

Edit:  I say no patterns, but things like cargo pants and other pants that have a lot of pockets or patches to break up the space help you. Just remember loose = win.

Get some running in, build up to running a 5k every other day, it'll trim you down all over, butt included.

Running actually builds more muscle in your legs, butt and thighs. It doesn't necessarily slim you.

thanks for the advice, everyone. as it's time for some new jeans anyhow, i've opted for the slightly baggier look. hopefully that'll help.

and as far as running goes, i'm afraid that won't help much. most of my behind's structure is due to my tailbone sticking way out for some reason. (i've seen the xrays at my chiropractor.) i also bike about 15 miles daily and that is probably making me maintain muscle in the glute area. but i'm not going to stop biking.

anyhow, i'll work on altering my pant style, trying the belt idea and see how that goes.

thanks again, guys.
