Now i've played Tekken since I was 5. Its the best fighting game i've ever played and I love it that much I have Jin Kazama's arm tattoo. Now you can imagine my excitement when I heard of the live action movie.
The film was meant to be released in April but for some reason it is now delayed until January

.
The film is meant to follow the Tekken 3 storyline focusing on Jin Kazama. Personally I think they should start from the first game like the anime movie did (well it was sorta a mix of Tekken and Tekken 2 but still). I have some hopes for this film but like most video game film adaptations I dont think it's gonna run so smoothly especially as it is a fighting game. Remember Street Fighter? Eugh.
One major issue seems to be some of the key characters are missing. Hwoarang and Ling are two very important characters in Jins story yet they seem to be missing from the movie. It seems that Jins love interest is a woman called Kara who is some character made for the film. If they cant use the right characters then I worry about the rest of the movie. Plus Steve Fox is featured and he didnt appear until Tekken 4.
