I had come accross and article back in the summer about this but had NO idea they were this close to actually trying the proceedure on a human yet. Within a decade perhaps those of us who want to will be able to carry a fetus to term and give birth albeit via a C section.

No one knows how important this is to me.  I would give anything to give birth to a child, anything!.  I think that this is one of the most beautiful experiences a woman can have, to carry a child to term, give birth to a baby and see him/her grow.  I envy women because of this, and although I know that I am a woman through and through, I also know that I will never be able to fullfill this dream, not even after the doctors give me a new anatomy.

Yes, I would love to be a mom to my own child, but unfortunately that was not meant to be in this life  , maybe next time, in another life,  in another dimension, in a different world with a different body.

  This is something very close to my heart. I try not to think about it for very long, if I do I usally get very sad and have a good cry over it .

Oh, Tink! I truly feel for you. Sadly, you are not alone, there are many women that also cannot experience pregnancy for one reason or another.  I know that adoption isn't a replacement for the experience of bearing a child, but you still can get to be a parent and there are plenty of children in the world that need a good home. You are such a warm-hearted woman that I'm sure any child would be very lucky to have you for a Mom. 

Maybe I'll send you the three children that live with that witch downstairs...I'm sick to death of hearing her scream at them.  It really burns me up that people will have children, not appreciate having children, and treat children badly when there's some of us that would die for the chance that they got.
