About 3 weeks ago on the day of my 20th birthday, I decided to go early in the morning and get my blood checked to see my hormone levels and if the estrogen is in normal range. I have been quite skeptical about it because sometimes it seems too good to be true that hey the hormones are working and I am finally becoming a woman! I was on HRT for 3 1/2 months at the time of the test.

Well yesterday my doctor finally called me with the results to tell me that my estrogen level is 700 (not sure about the unit measurement like ml dl or pg) and my testosterone is immeasurable (he said this means less than 20). It was the best present I could ever have and it calmed alot of my anxiety and paranoia about HRT. On top of that, I am getting results so I cant really complain :)

Ahh Im so happy!!!

Thanks a bunch girl! Now that I think of it, what units would this be in? Is estrogen always measured in pg/ml or is it in ng/dl? And does anyone have a chart of the estrogen levels that are common for women in their early 20s or transwomen in general?

if you browse back a page or two in this (hormone replacement therapy) forum, that information has been discussed in depth before. Also a lot of good reading about hormone stuff in general. ;)

Good for you, Jasmine.

Lower the nasty "T".  Destroy it, stomp it, kick it to the gutter.

You go, Girl.

Hey I have been looking for this but cannot find the link. Could you please post it?

Estrogen is measured in pg/mL (picograms per milliliter).
Testosterone is measured in ng/dL (nanograms per deciliter).

This means that that if you scored 100 on both measurements
you would actually have 10 times more T than E because the units are 10 times bigger.
It's all a bit convoluted.

The referred to topic is: Estrogen levels.

And don't stomp that testosterone level too low.
Even women need a bit of the darn poison to have a libido and some semblance of endurance.
At some point in life you may even find yourself taking testosterone supplements.
