She played Elyse Keaton on the series sitcom "Family ties" from 1982-1989.I watched almost every episode when i was
younger.It is ironic that while struggling with my feminine feelings.I thought i was watching the all american conservative family,100% ,well she has just come out as a Lesbian.I say GO GIRL.I love her for looking CNN right in the face and saying "Im a Lesbian".I will wish her a Happy new year.
