Loosing your mind:

I went for a walk one day to catch up to my thoughts, an arduous task...
They had left me some time ago.
They weren't far away, but...
They had left me some time ago.

I followed their trail through the woods, tripping now and then, as...
They had left me some time ago.
When asked, the stones knew not, streams were silent, they knew not, for...
They had left me some time ago.

I sat to rest and ponder, but my thoughts...
They had left me some time ago.
I continued my quest, and sought the answers, but...
They had left me some time ago.

I came to a meadow, most wondrous of places,
and I saw my thoughts, though...
They had left me some time ago.
Gathered with so many others, dancing, frolicking, rejoicing, for they all...
Had left some time ago.

I asked, why...
They had left me some time ago.
They stopped, smiled, and came to me with uncertainty, and said...
You didn't listen, you rejected us, you thought we were meaningless...

I stopped, gathered my thoughts, and listened...
They aren't so bad, now I listen, and we are happy again.
