Can't get picture to appear.

Hi ya all,

I decided to change my picture, and can not get the new one to appear, what am I doing wrong???

Make sure the picture is no larger than 150 pixels wide and is a .jpg. If you are uploading it directly to the forum make sure to have "I will upload my own picture:" selected. If you want to host it off site click on "I have my own pic: Specify your own avatar by URL." Also if you are using photobucket or imageshack to host the image be sure that the URL is to the actual image, not to the page that it is located on. Example: http://www.myimagesite.com/avatarimage.jpg not http://www.myimagesite.com/?action-view&current=avatarimage.jpg

I had a look at your profile and it looks like you were trying to upload a pic from your own PC.
Try again and wait for a bit to give it a chance of uploading before going back into the forums. Apart from that... was it a jpeg? It should still put it in if it is too wide so maybe that is not the problem.

Do you have it on your PC or online somewhere? If you like you could email it to me and I'll put it up for you - just let me know and I'll send a PM with personal email address.

Anyway I got it to upload, tried first time with a MAC, worked using a PC.
Maybe the pic on the MAC wasto big. Anyway thank's again.

Maybe it just was a mac browser thing...who knows. Glad you have it sorted.
