Hi everyone.

Recently, someone posted a thread with an mp3 file attached called susanvoiceupload[1].mp3

They said they have been practicing their feminine voice and had made the recording, wanting to know how it sounded.

I can't find the thread!!!!!!!!!  :icon_censored:

I'm really sorry, I have a memory like a seive (and spelling that defies gravity!)

Anyway. I listened to it and thought it sounded fine. But I really couldn't be sure if that was just me.

So, I downloaded the file. I chopped of a few seconds at the end, where she makes reference to transgender or something and saved it, meaning to, at the right opportunity, to play it to some people, without telling them anything about TG.

I have just managed to do just that.

I said that it was someone I know, on the web, who has recently had some medical treatment and needed to retrain their voice. They are feeling a bit self conscious and wanted to know if it sounds OK.

Anyway. the result is, the 3 people who listened to it said, 'Yeah she sounds fine.'

So, I said to them that she is a bit concerned that it may be a little flat, even rough.

'No' they said, 'She sounds rather educated.'

Anyway, I really wanted to get back to the girl who posted it and tell her.

But I can't find the thread. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! :icon_help:

Aww,  ;D

It was me, and thanks for posting.

I think my voice has changed slightly (hopefully for the better) since that post, so that file is a tiny bit out of date.

But thanks so much for doing that, it's really appreciated.  ;D

The original thread is over on the Just For Us forum https://www.susans.org/forums/index.php/topic,70040.0.html

Great Ashley.

So sorry for forgetting your name.

Anyway, just pasted the relevant part of #1 into the relevant thread, mainly for the record.

Best of luck.
