"No one gets left behind." Dr Maxwell Scott Anderson August 26, 1956 – January 14, 2010

On January 14th, 2010 at 3:10pm, Dr. Maxwell Scott Anderson was called home to God's glory in a peaceful rest. He was a native of Chicago, Illinois; moving to Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and then to Atlanta, Georgia where he called home for 20 plus years.

Dr. Maxwell is survived by his mother Dorothy Anderson of Red Granite, Wisconsin, his loving and devoted sister, Susie Anderson of Chicago, IL, Linda Davidenko (Albert), and Alvin Anderson (Sassy) of Red Granite, Wisconsin and many loving nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He is also survived by many friends who considered him family from an older brother, an uncle, along with being a father figure. Dr. Anderson currently holds a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology from Argosy University, along with his Masters and Ph. D in Psychology.

He was a pioneer and forerunner for the Gay, Lesbian, Bi-sexual, Queer, and Transgender community, being an activist for mental and transgender health issues.

Dr. Max was my therapist and a wonderful man. He will be missed by a great many people. He put so much of his life into helping others live the lives that they were supposed to be living.
