So I left for school really early today, and I am so glad that I did. I'm sick, so not only is my voice totally shot, and I look like crap, but I recently sprouted a bunch of dark hairs and broke down and scheduled another laser session (I have just been doing electro.) Coming down with this meant that I had to cancel the appointment yesterday.

So I knew I had some stubble, but it didn't look too bad at home. In the parking lot, I twisted the mirror around to look at myself and went "OH JESUS." I know I've passed with much worse before, and some girls do have dark facial hair on their upper lip. But young women don't leave the house like that. Especially not to school. And it didn't matter before if I passed or not, whereas in my classes everyone knows me as a girl.

I sped over to Walgreens and bought a $2.50 4 pack of disposable razors and shaved the offenders in the parking lot.

Ugh. It probably honestly wouldn't have made a difference, but I have not felt that self-conscious in a long time. I am *SO* ready for beard removal to be DONE already. I'm at two and a half years, with 18 some odd upper lip laser treatments and a few hours of electrolysis now. The worst part is that I have hairs that grow dark out of blond roots, all clustered up under the nose.

I hate those ones.  I plucked them but I have to let them grow so they can get Zapped.  If they only would come out with some debiltory that really worked.
