Basiliximab

Okay, fine. I don't like introductions, but you've talked me into it. So I'm Aaron Marrus, 29 years old, almost done with pharmacy school. I have an account under "Bax" in another forum. They wouldn't let me put Basiliximab b/c apparently it's a drug (which I hardly think of it as that anymore... it's just my screen name. We even covered basiliximab in class one day, and I'm like, "hey—that's me!"). So now everyone has to buy basiliximab because it will make you feel better.

No. I'm kidding. It's something used for kidney transplants in the hospital only. I like writing. I've written three books... trying to get one published, but I'll have to do that on my own... can't wait. I love that book. It's just not mainstream enough I guess; oh well—I'm not writing for profit anyway. I write fantasy/science fiction gay erotica romance. So if anyone's interested, I can send out a copy once I get it published.

I'm not writing anything at the moment (which is probably why I'm more depressed than usual... I get on *such* a high when I write. Better than any drug; I guess it's like withdrawal symptoms or something). I just finished my third novel in November and I've got some pretty tough rotations coming up the next couple months; so I expect to be all tied up with that until May (and then naplex after that :(. So I really cannot wait to finish pharmacy school so I can get back to writing (And why can I write during some rotations and not others you ask? Because some "preceptors" [think of them as the instructors on the rotations] are insane and want you to write papers and crap on top of the forty-hours you have to spend at their damn rotation site). I've had a few ideas floating around, especially when I'm reading; that's usually when I get inspired 'cause I'll be thinking— oh that would be neat if the story went in that direction... which it never does. That's the main reason why I wrote the books I've written 'cause I couldn't find anything out there that was quite what I was looking for. So I wrote it myself.

I can never think of appropriate endings for my posts (I feel so inauthentic saying "okay, hope to talk to everyone later!"... not that I don't want to talk to anyone later, it's just like filling in the subject lines in emails... I never know what to put. Everything I end up putting in there sounds so generic, so usually I just leave it blank).

Hey Aaron! A fellow writer, huh? That's awesome. I'm in romance, too. Good luck getting published and getting back into writing when you have the time again. I know exactly what you mean about getting depressed when not writing. When I'm working on a book, it's like I'm in love. When I'm not working on a book...well. It's kind of like having your marriage break up. :D
