New daddy and passing!

Ok, so it's been a looong time since I last posted. I've just been a bit busy with life, school, work and what have you.

Just thought I'd announce that I'm a new daddy.. Well, to the most wonderful little four legged son ever! Yup, got a puppy, his name is Rico Suave, and he's a Chihuahua. He's so well behaved, and adorable. Loves his daddy lots!

On another topic, the more I keep my hair trimmed and what not, the more I pass. I haven't even started binding yet! It's strange, but I like it. I just smile and nod and keep on truckin. I'll try to keep myself on the ball and update here now and then. I'm in the welding course at the Fleming college here in town. Working weekends, and trying to keep up with a social life.. sorta. Being a new 'daddy' is kinda fun. He's such a suck my little Rico.

Yeah, longer hair definitely makes it harder to pass because we're read as "female". But for some of us, too short means being read as "butch lesbian". Or just "wow, girl with a short hair cut!"

Me with my dog, two summers ago when i wasn't even trying to pass (didn't even identify as FtM then).

Sort of related question.... my aunt has a dog i spend time with as often as possible (which isn't as much as i would like). We have a close bond, almost as close as the one he has with them (he's a rescue.) If i don't see him for a while and i start the transition (T), do you think he'll recognize me when i DO see him? Just curious lol.

And right now, no I'm not on T, been trying to get to a doctor since my family doc is back home which is an hour or so away, and I have no wheels. And I haven't started binding yet. Eventually will, but right now, it's just been kinda hectic with school, work, and now a new puppy. Oh! And, I recently met someone.
