Hi, i'm new to the forums! I found this place while looking on the net for information.

I'm a female... but thats about as far i'd go with the being female thing. I dont like it one bit and i'm looking into ways on how to make myself happier in being what i truly feel. I hope to find some answers by being here.

Hi, Wishy, Welcome to Susan's!

I'm really happy that you found us and decided to jion.  If it's information, support or just a bit of cameraderie with other transgendered people, this is a great place to get it.  We have a large diversity of members and are all happy to welcome more.

For info, try the WIKI of the links on the Main Page.  For support and cameraderie the forums and chat are the places to go.  Have fun and explore the place.  We ask very little in return, simply read and abide by the Terms of Service and pretty much everything else goes.

I'll be looking forward to reading more from you and I'm again happy to say,

WELCOME ! !  :)

hey, man... nice to meet ya. I'm an FtM, came in here the first time in June, and at that time I pretty much had no idea what I was doing. The people here at Susan's have been amazing to me, and I have learned so much... now, 5 months later, I am so much better off! Glad you found us here, and feel free to PM me if you have any questions or need support.

Welcome.

Susan's can be pretty addicting...though I don't really post much. I read the forums daily and if you stick around, you probably will to. There's a lot of good information and support to be found here.

I'm Tyler, by the way.

Thanks for all the replies ^_^

I did have a wonder around the site before i found the forums on here.

After spending my whole life up unhappy of what i am, i decided it might be time to do something about it. I haven't started anything yet, i'm still looking at options of how i can change my life around to feel comfy in who i really am. The part that scares me the most is the people i know i will loose, such as family. But i woke up this morning and asked myself - If none of those people ever really mattered, would i go through sex change? The answer is undoubtedly yes, because i know i cant be any unhappier in who i am now if i was able to change that.

My only concerns then, is the process and the cost. That is what i need to look into next. I'm from the UK and unsure of what support is available here. But i do have plans to see my doc about it soon.

You all sound like great people and i consider myself lucky to have found this place.

Hi Wishy, welcome to Susan's.  Glad to make you part of our family.

There is a lot of information here, and if you don't see what you need (or just plain get tired of looking through everthing), just ask.  Folks here are happy to help.

Looking forward to hearing more from you.

Ya put your right foot in.  You put your right foot out.  You put your right foot in and you shake it all about.  You do the Andro-gyney and you turn yourself around.  That's what it's all about.

Hey, Wishy.  I think you'll find there is lots of support in the UK.  You have to follow 'the system,' but that can result in lots of free transition services.  Not sure if we have any UK services links in our Links area, but you may check your 'Press for Change' organization to see if they do.
