i went to Brighton on sea the supposedly gay capitol of England....
the amount of trans sexual s are very unhappy....
sitting on the sea front looking like there worlds are falling to pieces....
whats goin on...
the homeless are despised....
speaking to a few....bought a cup of tea for one and as i passed the cafe where i bought the tea from said to the other one he would have spat in it if he knew i was going to give it to a homeless person....
there was a place to get food from but as for help to get accommodation was not good...the local YMCA dont help the homeless there...
my day there was a good one....bit on the expensive side .
i arrived on the Saturday hoping to find more info on surgeons and support groups their for transgenders....but life stops at 1pm and i arrived at 9:30 and had breakfast and tried to locate the YMCA WHICH was some dingy alleyway and not what i was expecting from such a respectable established  organisation .
can anyone help me with better information on this place?
i plan to visit again in two months time,,,,

spacial

I've been in Brighton a few times. I live about 50  miles along the coast.

It always seemed to be to be akin to a society on the verge of civil war. Different groups, each pretending the others don't exist unless they are brought face to face.

That, inevitably brings out the psychopaths which Brighton has plenty of. Drug dealers, pimps, bullies.

The attitude of the social scientists is that the misfits and simplex wander south and stop in Brighton because of the sea. I know that's pretty silly reasoning but social scientists aren't exactly known for their intelgence.

Brighton seems to epitomise the tendency of England to pretend any problem they can't face will go away if they ignore it.

Sorry I can't be more positive, but I would be more than a little careful making myself vulnerable there.

Can you get lodgings in Hove, preferably the western part, and travel in?

Expensive, but so much safer.
