Jerico DeAngelo, of Auburn, recently received an award for a documentary he produced called "Octavia St. Laurent: Queen of the Underworld."
This honor is the most recent in what has been a long career in the entertainment industry for DeAngelo. Nonetheless, the award left him a little taken aback.

"It felt amazing," DeAngelo said. "Octavia was a good friend and regardless of what happened, I was going to go there and represent her and that spirit. I had no ideas I was going to win. And that is what I went there and did - winning is something extra."
