I'm pretty sure I've seen some people in Minneapolis.  What groups are there for people not exactly sure where they fall in the MTF spectrum?

Simmie might have a lead. (she's a good psychologist to boot)

Simmie seems cool.  I don't have a car, though, so it would be hard to get up to White Bear Lake on a regular basis.  I don't think Metro Transit gets out that far.

also a st paul office, but metro transit doesn't go around there frequently (unless you take to university and walk down the street x_x)

Hey, that could do.  I'm quite familiar with that area.  It's a long walk or short bike ride* from where I live now (Seward).

*I ride all year.  But if I do bike there, I hope she's okay with smelly people.

Check out the Minnesota Trans Health Coalition.  They have a number of great resources listed, (including trans friendly doctors and therapists) and they hold regular community forums discussing non-gender-binary issues.  Also, one of their current board members, and the ex-board president identify as "Gender Queer", rather than "Trans".  Actually, come to think of it, I believe the current board president does as well.

I know there was also a monthly meet-up for those who consider themselves non-binary for a while.  It was being organized through MNBoyz (the Yahoo group for transmen) but was open to anyone.

You might also find some resources by contacting the U of MN's Gender Studies department.  If you want to PM me I can also give you the names of a few non-binary folks who are open and active in the community, and they may be able to give you more details about what is going on.

Edit:  O.K.  I may have misread your original intent.  But I stand by my suggestion of MNTHC as an excellent resource.  :)

I'm not exactly sure what you're looking for. Here's some thoughts off the top of my head...

For a social group, I think the CLCC (http://www.clccmn.com/) has a decent reputation, though I haven't belonged for more than a decade. It used to lean WAY more to the M2F crossdresser side, but others tell me it's more of a mix these days.

For therapy, Willow Counseling (http://www.willowcounselingservices.com/) doesn't have an active M2F group going at the moment, but I'm 95% certain another will be starting soon. Doesn't hurt to contact them. That's the real "group therapy" kind of group.

Hi, Jamie, thank you for the suggestions.  The MNTHC is definitely quite comprehensive -- there's more therapists there than I can shake a boot at.

Diana, I'm interested in seeing what the CLCC is like, but I've not been able to find any contact info for them that works.

Thank you both for the suggestions.
