I like the Tyree play better.... but alas I am bias...

I also think Manning's ability to get away from being sacked was just as amazing and important as Tyree's catch..

My prediction is that there will be no wardrobe malfunctions during the half time act and the superbowl is going to be played somewhere in America.

Move over Rasputin..

Yeah, yet another over the hill washed up rock band doing a medley of their greatest hits to sell their greatest hits package because the last real record they put out was 1981/82, or basically before anyone playing in that game was born.  But hey, it's the bathroom/beer run break.

But hey, in another 10-15 years AC/DC will be old enough to do the halftime show.

AC/DC just played a couple stadium shows in my town (I went to the vultures instead, felt safer for me). My city was awash with black tshirted old bogans. They were a surprisingly well behaved crowd really. Perhaps it was just the haze of dope smoke hanging over the whole city from noon to midnight.

Them Crooked Vultures was awsome though. Dave grohl was really beefed up, had huge arms on him. I love John Paul jones's slide bass playing, and Josh homme was just a legend. I don't know how he does it but he somehow makes ginger and check shirt wearing really cool

Yeah the TCV show here was real tasty, always thought that QotSA/EoDM were very under-rated bands.  And no doubt that Grohl was the best part of Nirvana. (though that remark is pretty much me and me alone)

What everyone is real hot for here is the re-union of Faith No More here in their home town, at my home theater, on April 14th.  Which is a total bummer as its the same day that Mark Knopfler plays a 25 minute bike ride from my house at a place I also work all the time.  I hate choices.

sooooo... Saints win? Brees is the MVP? Who called that? :)

Also, let me postulate that the football gods punished one team that didn't go all out for an undefeated season, while rewarding the bolder team that took risks (the onside kick, going for it on 4th down, etc)

Fortune favors the bold, so I would have given the MVP to Payton, not the player, the coach.  How do you keep Payton the player from scoring, keep him off the field.  The time of possession was so key.  And the group no one talked about, the Saints defense brought some game.
