So, just how much is enough and how can one tell if they have enough to get the standard Brassard 5.5".  Is there some way one can measure?  If so, what is the magic number?  Brassard told me that I would most likely would not need one, but that could really only be determined at the time of surgery.

Also, what are the disadvantages to having a skin graft to gain extra depth?

Thanks,
Kristyn

The usual way to assess a patient is to stretch the penis and measure it, or as brassard does, eyeball it. Average size makes average depth afterwords, dilation might make small gains.

I believe brassard uses scrotal grafting. Risks include separation of the graft, necrosis of the graft, stenosis (narrowing) of where the graft joins the other tissue because of swelling or scar tissue formation, and numbness. Unwanted hair is a possibility with scrotal grafting.

Hey, thanks 'Wiki Staffer' for that reply.  Actually Brassard pointed out that he takes skin from the back of the thigh area.  Would a more accurate way of measuring be to measure while one is erect?
