POLICE have busted a cross-dressing man who allegedly broke into homes while wearing women's lingerie.

Police allege the man was wearing little but a blue lacy G-string when he was confronted by a stunned home owner this week.

Police allege it was the sixth offence for the Tewantin husband and dad.

The latest alleged offence came at a Barbados Circuit unit in Noosaville on Thursday morning.

Police said there had been a series of break-ins involving an offender wearing women's lingerie at Noosa over the past 18 months.
