http://nyunews.com/opinion/2010/10/11/12pretent/I can't imagine that Israel Luna, the director of "Ticked-off Trannies with Knives," knew his film would be released at a time when anti-LGBT bullying was a topic of national concern. I kind of wonder what he's thinking now.

Luna himself has said this is a movie with a message, which makes the timeliness of its release all the more uncanny and the ->-bleeped-<-tiness of its execution all the more dire. He intended it as a response to the increasing prevalence of 'bashings,' violent hate crimes against the LGBT community.
