Are you happy with your orci

I am planning to have an orci this year. For those of you who have had one, are you happy with it? What changes have you had physically and mentally? Has it helped you transition to be rid of T. Are you functional and can you have an orgasm? Would you do it again and will it hurt SRS results?

I had partial orchie to remove an undeswcended teticle and it concerned me less that a brokne nails does -such is the love a TS has por her testicles.

On a practical not emake sure your surgeon uses external stitches as mine did internal and I now have a nasty keloid scar right above where my vagina will be.. and no, I had seven other deep incisions and all healed nicely with outside stitches.

I am three months post-orchie.  My surgeon used external self dissolving stitches which has left hardly no scar.  I am very pleased with the results.

My anger issues have been resolved and estrogen has free reign.  My bustline is growing again. Yay.  And I have noticed that I feel a lot more feminine and can cry easier, which is a plus.  Body hair is fading more and more, and even the facial hail grows slower now.

And I don't function in that nasty mode any more, although I still can orgasm but more whole body.

I already cry a lot... what's going to happen when I get that orchi I so desperately want? People around me will need hip-waders :)

I had my orchy when I was 26, and I am 41 now.  Please... please please, make sure you are on some type of hormones when you go thru with this, or you will be post menopausal.  I have gained an incrediable amount of weight, and it is really really hard to lose it once you have it. :(  Also, somewhere I had read, that by having an orchy to soon, the skin will shrink up, as it isn't holding anything anymore.  Some doctors frown on this, as they don't have enough tissue to work with when it comes time for the major surgery.  Just my thoughts, can't wait to be back on E and P.

Yes, I was happy, estatic actually.  I seemed to uhm... mellow out some?  I am able to have orgasms, just don't want them at this time.  Hope that helps.

After you do your orci, what hormones do you still need to be on?  I assumed after the orci I would be able to stop spiro at least.

I am off Spiro, but I am on a reduced Estradiol.  I have started take Gaba, which is a supplement that helps with sleep and will also helps to produce HGH.  Which helps with further growth of the bustline.

My other question was about tucking.  Is it a lot easier after the orci?  I assume it would be, but I don't know.  Like after the orci for the most part do you not have much of a bulge down there?

i cant wait for my orci but will it affect my grs i want them removed so badly but dont want to ruin the final surgery because of it.............mandi xx

Tucking is way easier.  No bulge at all.  And if you get your GRS within a couple of year, you should be fine.

It's not widely known about in the U.K and I don't know of anyone here who's actually had the operation? the general opinion here is referrals for GRS or not at all..

I'm kind of interested in an orci but I'm a little confused about the need. If your T count on spiro is way down to almost nothing, what's the point of another operation? If it helps me maintain my inner self and not lose the battle to the anger and whatnot, awesome but if that's already mediated, what's the need?

For me it was two fold.

1. To reduce the use of Spiro.

2. To eliminate the twins permanently.  It might be the only step I will be able to afford.

I had mine over 10 years ago.  I can still get erections (especially if I'm on T) and can still orgasm the same as before.  I made the unforunate mistake of NOT being on any hormones after I de-transitioned about 8 years ago and have since probably caused quite a bit of harm to my body.  I didn't do anything about it sooner because I had falsely believed the only side effect of not having hormones after an orchi would be lack of energy (and I've always had PLENTY of energy).

My biggest suggestion to anyone planning it is, sperm storage.  Yes, yes, I know you will tell me and everyone else that you won't need it, that you are a woman, that you will NEVER seek to impregnate anyone.  I said the same myself, but you owe it to yourself to save some of your seed should you ever desire a child for any reason - especially if you end up with another woman as your partner.  Worst case scenario, you make a donation, and never use it - whoop-tee-doo!

Second suggestion is don't stop taking your Estrogen, Testosterone supplements, etc unless you'd like to kill your energy levels, break down your bones faster, and gain a lot more weight.
Ill no longer be defined by my condition. From now on, I'm just, Kate.
