A transsexual is born with the  brain of one sex with the mismatched genitals of the other sex.

My brain has been and always will be female. I have known I was born with the wrong genitalia as far back as I could construct coherent thoughts about girls and boys.

Before and after surgery corrected my outward genitalia, my internal gender has been female. Nothing has changed.
