Hilo college student Micah Inoue is on a mission.

The 20-year-old psychology junior at University of Hawaii at Hilo is president of the university's Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) Organization.

He's also student representative for the gender identity working group at the university, a student representative on the UH system Commission on Diversity and Equality, LGBT and the student liaison for the Honolulu Pride Festival.

Inoue is a student activist who gets his message across by going to school dressed in drag, and he's working with area high schools to help them become more aware of issues facing LGBT students.
