I bought a new outfit today.   It is very much a 'going clubbing' outfit and before I wear it out I definitely need to lose some weight from my waist and develop some curves (the hormones will hopefully help in that regard).

The oufit consists of a silver patterned sequin dress, slinky leggings and a pair of high heeled platform shoes.

It is probably too young for me but I don't care.   Looking fashionable and sexy is fun and I enjoy it.

The heels are probably the highest I have ever worn, the heel is about four and a half inches!  I know I will suffer until I have stretched them out a bit but I just love them.   Not a pair of shoes I wold wear every day but for the odd evening, they are fantastic.

I have splurged on my wardrobe of late, so I will have to calm down the spending for a few months.

oh, and does anyone else have issues with leggings being too loose at the ankle?

I buy a lot of "going clubbing" stuff that I plan to wear after I lose a few pounds and develop curves but sometimes I wonder if by the time that happens if the fashion will be completely changed over by then, LOL. I've tried to stick to buying clothes that fit right now instead of using clothing to motivate me to lose weight (at least in that way, I still use cute clothing to motivate me to lose weight, but now it's more of a reward for losing the weight)

as for the leggings, there are a few different cuts, some are supposed to fit around the calf and could appear to be loose around the ankle if they are too long (or you are too short :) ). I've found that the L and XL sizes is where the ankle opening starts getting larger. XS, S and M seem to fit much better around the ankle in my experience.

Corsets or cincher will help with the waist.  And if required padding for the hips/behind.

I have a few clubbing outfits, including what every girl needs.  A little black dress.  In fact I have two.

Like Beth said, try leggings, a size down from the one that you purchased.

Don't do short term fasts, since it increases testosterone in your body. But if you do long term fasts it will decrease testosterone (more than 3 days).

I think if you have the body you can wear anything and still look hot.

Hi Pippa...
I know where you're coming from. I sometimes buy trendy outfits that I *know* I'm never going to wear in public. I really like the current tights and sweater trend with Uggs. OMG, so super cute! :icon_chick: I highly doubt I'd ever have the nerve to try and pull that look off, but I still have the outfit! Of course, by this time next year it may well look ridiculous, but who's keeping track of current trends anyway?! :P

Toodles,
~Jasmine
