Oh please, when will the Mirror, the Sun, and the rest of the british tabloids be done with exploiting the trans community?
How many successful/unsuccessful transition stories have to be printed before the public gets tired of it? I hope that the exploited people in these rags get paid, and paid well, for having their lives thrown open for all to see and old ladies cluck their tongues and shake their heads.
I've been writing software for a very long time and I could create a program that could write these stories for them. Just a few phrases and story templates and you press a button and away you go!
That way people could continue to feel superior without actually injuring others.
Lets see now, a few phrases...
bloke into nancy
guy trades slacks for skirts
married man wants to be mum
horrified young bride discovers hubby's hobby
soldier wants to be meter maid
It's like those Mad-lib games, you just fill in the blanks and the story writes itself.
