EL PASO, Texas -- KFOX has uncovered that a controversial counseling program aimed at changing people from gay to straight is operating right here in El Paso.

"I knew at a very, very early age that I was different than everyone else," said Marcos Bordonada, of Northeast El Paso.

He came out as gay at 14 year old and for some of his life he lived as a woman.

"I was a pre-surgical transsexual," he said.
