a 'here's me progress on T' thread!

I just felt like having an outside opinion on my facial changes on T... cos i feel like i'm jumping way ahead of myself when i analyse myself and i don't believe my mates are non-biased. Parents MOST DEFINITELY biased! lol

I'm coming up 5 weeks on T on monday and today i've had my first official shave to try and entice it to grow thicker. I've noticed hairs growing darker on my upper lip, but only noticable if you're actually looking!!

Here's me before T (not too far off before) trying to look as sexy as i can, but failing


And this was taken on Thursday. Ignore the hair - it's growing and got to that stupid length where gel does no justice anymore cos it just flops >_< Plus it needed washing! lol


So go on guys - your best harsh judgement!

PS, you know how hard it is to shave with a face full of acne??? O_O lol

Need a pic without the cue stick.  But from what I can see, it looks like you've lost some fat off of your face--looks more masculine that way.  You look good.

And oh yeah, I feel ya on the shaving with acne thing...

Thanks guys! And yeah, that was the latest pic, thats why i stuck it in there. It's really exciting seeing all the new changes and watching them happen! And i honestly didn't expect some changes so soon. Even my little man has grown considerably! I mean, it's still small... but it's bigger than it was!

Still waiting for the voice to drop though...

Honestly you look the same. You look manly enough in both pictures. But being on T makes you notice every single small change, huh? I'm looking forward to it.

Side note: I like these kinds of threads, and I'd appreciate it if you continued to document your progress. It lets me know what to expect.

No, you do look better/different in the second one. Change in skin texture, I think, though it's hard to tell from a distance. And your jaw looks stronger.

I'll second the hips thing though...you're lucky.

I've never had hips. I've never had a large chest either. It's like my body knew it was supposed to be male and just left itself out most the girly growing up phases all the other girls got lol

But yeah, you do definitely look like your face has changed in the second pic. Not sure if it's the jaw or the overall fat redistribution, but something has changed. Like when my little brother went through puberty and one week he was a little boy, the next week, he looked somehow like a man.

I so can't wait for T... I need a time machine. If I at least had a pic of myself from the future to motivate me to keep slugging through all this, even that would help. Sigh

Actually, I'm quite adept with it. I'm a graphic designer by trade, about 8 years experience in the industry, etc. I've even 'shopped myself with facial hair (and posted it here a few months ago), but the thing is, I don't want a "fake" picture of me looking more masculine, I want a *real* picture of what I'll *actually* look like once T has had some time to do its thing.

I know, it's impossible. I know, I'm being picky by not wanting a 'shopped pic. I know, I just have to be patient.

You look great pre T and now you look even better. You don't seem to having that hip and chest problem alot of guys have. lucky you.

the pics don't look a whole lot different, but i do see a few changes in the second one (some could be from the lighting)

-the lines around your chin are a bit darker, outlining it more and making it more masculine
-your neck looks more muscular
-your brow ridge is a little more prominent (possibly from fat loss in the face)
-darkening on the upper lip and sideburn area
