Representatives from several anti-LGBT organizations gathered in Rhode Island on Saturday, Feb. 27, for a conference billed as the New England Family, Life and Marriage Summit. The event, organized by the Family Research Council, was held at Ocean State Baptist Church in Smithfield.

Nimocks also gave a presentation entitled "Sex: State of Mind or Biological Fact?" And he further accused transgender advocates of attempting to eliminate not only distinctions between the sexes, but all opposition and criticism to the way they present themselves.
