Packing at that time of the month

Ugh, so I've been using a standard cyberskin packer and I haven't been able to pack for almost a week now because I've been spotting constantly and I don't want to do any damage to it. I don't have a strap, I use medical adhesive and I can't afford a strap right now.

Dyshporia's fierce right now, and I'm really tempted to pack anyways, but I want to know what will happen if my packer gets blood on it. Will it be ruined?

If the cyberskin used for your packer is the same as the material used for cyberskin sex toys (I'd assume it probably is), then it can stand up to body fluids just fine - they just wash off, and then you reapply the powder or whatever you use to maintain the surface.

But if you're concerned, you could put a condom over it.

I've accidentally gotten blood on mine before.  I just washed it off as soon as I noticed and did the regular corn starch to keep it fresh.

This might be TMI but may be helpful.  I used to not pack with that time of the month because I used pads.  When I switched to tampons (not for everyone, I know) and a liner for leaks, I was able to pack again.  I got blood on it only when things were very "heavy" and like I said, I just washed it off when I'd get home and dust it with the corn starch.

I think as long as it isn't covered in it and is washed off pretty quick (same day), the packer shouldn't get stained or ruined.

Getting blood on my packer just filled me with rage, so I didn't pack.  Unfortunately tampons were not an option due to some problems with the parts. 

Hysto was my answer.  T will help most of you who can't get a hysto.

If you're a briefs kinda guy then double up on underwear.

It's easy for a cyber skin packer to get filled with bacteria so I usually have something between it and me. All of mine have gotten pretty darn gross quick.
