I'm Back! and everything is falling into place :)

Hello everyone, im back
Hope everyone had a good new year ( i know this is late lol )
Ive had alot of stuff going on in my life but ive pulled through them and i feel a much better, stronger and more confident person. It seems after seeing my doctor im being referd on to the next stage of specalists, i dont know who though but im sure ive come a long way because ive seen psychiatrists and councilors and my 'gender issue' has been on medical record for just under a year.
I dont know how much different the process is here in england so if anyone could tell me what i could expect next that would be a great help

Welcome back! I'm glad you are better, stronger, and more confident.
I'm in the States and never had to deal with NHS when in England, so I'll just wish you luck.

WB Hannah. I am glad you are progressing. And like Kate, I don't have any advise to dealing with the NHS as I am also in the States.
But others have dealt with them and came out the other end happy.

The only advise ive been given is if you are waiting on them dont be afraid to chase them up about things, shows you are serious (some GPs have been know not to refer people untill they contact them asking WTH happened to their referal) and also helps keep you informed. I have also heard that the younger you are the quicker they will try to get you through the system (not much you can do about that one though XD)
