I'm not exactly what you'd call a newbie to the forums... more like a rediscovery. In my attempt to save a few dollars, I thought doing without the internet at home and relying solely on my phone was a smart option. But going mobile just doesn't do some sites justice...
So I'm back with AT&T at home, and back to be a more active, helpful, and loyal member to the forums.
When I think about introducing myself, I always laugh, because I'm reminded of a dear friend, Matt Foley.
"My name is Matt Foley and I am a motivational speaker. Now, let's get started by me giving you a little bit of a scenario of what my life is all about! First off, I am 35 years old.. I am divorced.. and I live in a van down by the river!"
I'm slightly younger than Matt (26), a very different marital status (married, going on 10 months), and I live in a single-family home. I was adopted very shortly after I was born, relocated to TN, and have been here ever since. I work in healthcare. I really enjoy working out, being outdoors, reading books/newspapers, taking in a good show (fine arts especially-Opera, Symphony), and doing projects around my house.
As for why I'm here... that's been a long journey, significant peaks and valleys, that continues to this day. As time goes on, and people are more comfortable with me being here, I'd love to share and learn.
That's a 30,000' view of me, but if anything I've mentioned strikes a chord with you, or you have similar interests, I'd love to chat!
