My visit to see my mom was great tonight. We talked and had something on my mind.I asked her what my father would of said to me if I came out to him.I never got to come out to my father,he passed away from a fatal heart attack 3 years ago before I came out.My mom said he would still loved me regardless and cared about me.She told me that he would never let me down too,My mom told me something she kept for a long time, she saw the pain and suffering I went through all my childhood and knows I am at peace now with myself.

Aww.  That is sooo cool Cassandra!  Feels good when you can be yourself with your parent/parents.  I am happy for you.

Muah, hugs.
Smile, everyone will wonder what you are up to.

now that' how a mother's love should be. You are very fortunate to have her in your life. :)
Girls rule, boys drool.

That is the way my mom's love is and I do treat her with respect.

How nice for you, Cassandra.  It is so nice when those close to us accept us as we are. :)

She was there when I had my SRS on January 8th of this year.I admit she was a little tearful at first before I was rolled in the O.R. and gave me a birthday card I still have which is in my memory book which I made during my transition. It said this inside the birthday card: Cassandra, happy 31st birthday and I know you are going to have a new life that is better.I will love you as my daughter now and know you are much happier now.I read that and we hugged.

That's great that she is there for you. That I think is our greatest fear when we commit to transitioning, is being accepted by our parents. I am so happy for you.
I have yet to come out to mine.
