I'm lucky enough to be going on holiday for a fortnight in July but need some advice about binding please. There will be four formal nights while i'm away and i've got the togs sorted out BUT I'm a 40 DD at the minute. I've got a 997 from underworks but although it sort of flattens me it also compresses my stomach and theres no way i'm going to be able to sit thro a two hour meal in it. To be honest i dont think it flattens me that well but i could be expecting miracles. I've been weight training for about five weeks and i think the chest muscle is just pushing the fat bits out more. Anyone got any idea what type of binder i can use please

I would recommend the tritop as it stops off at the waist and also is pretty comfortable.

Thanks Nero. Are there any issues with that one rolling up at all do you know?

You can also just wear the 997 folded up, but try it out first and see if you can tolerate it long enough - the compression is significantly stronger.

Not that I noticed.

I'm getting to the stage with the 997 where even the thought of putting it on is enough to send me back underneath my duvet. Whichever way i try to push my moobs they just end up looking big and the binder feels worse than when i was a teenager using bandages. SOmething tells me i've grown  :(

It does roll up a bit - at least on me - but not enough to be a major problem. I'm a 34C and it squeezes them down beautifully :)

Thanks- I'll probably be ordering one on Tuesday then

I also recommend the tri-top.
It puts a small amount of pressure on your stomach while sitting which can be quite uncomfortable while eating. Obviously not as bad as a full length binder though. I've never had any problems with it rolling up either, but I'm small chested.

has anyone tried the 988 which is the one with chest compression but a relaxed mid section?

I have a 997, and had problems eating with it at first, and feeling like I was going to throw up.  I cut it shorter so it ends at the bottom of my rib cage now and its way more comfortable and doesn't roll up much.

I ordered it in a small which is my size for the 997 and it was way too big. I exchanged it for a x-small and it is too small. The concept is great but it hurts my shoulders if I wear it for more than a few hours. Also the compression part is too short, I can't have it pulled up as high as I like it so as to not create cleavage without it not compressing the bottom inch of the tumors.
Call me a cheat but I make my own fate.

I'm a large chested guy and I must say...I hate the tri top. For me, I've got hips and it rolls up. Yes, I can eat better with it BUT it hurts like hell. I have it dig in my back and under my arms and it doesn't really compress better (IMO).

It does all depend on your body shape and chest shape...mine sag like whoa so when I bind with the tri-top my nips almost poke out of the bottom...it's weird. Might work if you're not as "droopy" or if your hips aren't so wide.

Theyre not droopy- if anything they're getting bigger cos of the amount of gym work i'm putting in  but i have got the wide hips. Guess i'm just gonna have to cross my fingers that the one i choose works cos at the minute i can't afford two

If you got it from right from underworks and you don't like it you can exchange/return it no problem.
