Looking for opinions, how do I come across?

I'm not really sure what I identify as, and I'm having a phase of analyzing different aspects of my character. I thought I'd post some pictures, see what everyone here thinks.
Biologically I'm female, incase that isn't clear, I can't really tell. I suppose the look I go for is androgynous, leaning boyish. I like to keep my breasts pretty flat- I've never worn a normal, non-sports bra, recently I've been trying the upside-down spandex shorts, which I quite like. I'm not completely flat, but it works as a sort of "if you know they're there you see them, but they're not really obvious" kind of look. In these pictures I'm wearing a tee shirt, but in cooler weather I generally layer more, either a button-up over shirt or a hoodie. Especially in a hoodie sweatshirt, I can appear pretty much entirely boobless.
I'm quite frequently (mis?)taken for a boy, especially by people around 40 or older. My theory on this is that people of older generations are more likely to see short haircut + boyish clothing = boy, whereas younger people are more used to people, especially girls, dressing more androgynously.
I don't wear fashionable clothes in general, which probably contributes to my androgynous look, since a particular style is more likely to define someone one way or another.
Anyway, enough exposition, I have sometimes very bad habit of trying too hard to explain myself. Sorry for the poor quality pictures, I couldn't find a single camera in the house (I have no idea...) so I ended up taking them all with my computer webcam. Hence, only one really crappy full-body shot.

I think the hat makes me look more boyish...

The first two I would read you as a girl, the second two boy/androgynous (so yes, the hat works!  :D)
Love the 90s look, by the way.  :P

Hmm, 90s. Yeah, you may be right there. I'm never sure how to classify any aspect of my style really. (My reply to being asked what my style is in the past has been something like "Um, I have short hair, and I wear clothes, and, um..."   ::) ) Anyway, I'm glad you like.  8) Thanks for the opinions. ;D

I agree with Fenrir. :P The hat totally works.

I have slightly longer hair, so I think a hat could work for me, too... but I look silly in my nerd regalia (sweatervests, woo!) with a baseball cap. Jacky (or everyone else), do you wear other kinds of hats, maybe like a newsboy cap, and find that they work? I can NOT pull off a fedora.

Nerd regalia, what an apt description.  ;D Reminds me I've been wanting a new sweatervest. I don't know how much longer your hair is, when mine was longer I used to just wear it in a low ponytail. I'm not really sure about other hats... A bandana might work, though on the other had it might totally not work. I don't think I could pull off a fedora either, though I'm now somewhat tempted to give it a try.  ::)

Bottom two are def the most androgynous, especially the bottom right. As for hats, beanies work with the whole nerd/geek look

Yeah, keep the hat on. It changes everything.

Wow, thanks. I've never heard of them before, but having looked up some pictures, I quite like that.  ;D
I think I'm definitely going to stick with the hat as much as possible. I can't wear it at school, but I guess it wouldn't make much of a difference, pretty much everyone knows me to the point that subtle appearance changes just register as "Oh, there's [Jacky], she dresses weird." Pretty much all metropolitan areas are small, regardless of size.

boyish.

you look a lot like my kid neighbor (same haircut, same grin) and his appearance is 'sometimes girlish boy' - you've got it down. i agree that the hat helps.

Lookin' good.  The hat helps, as everyone above has said.  The last picture looks the most boyish of all.  :)
