I told my friends Jon and Anna about being TG today. Jon was like "actually, now you've said that, the penny's kind of dropped" and anna's first comment was "is it wrong to thing yay! new shopping buddy."

Hahaha, sounds like when I told one of my friends (known him since 4th grade) "So uh, wanna go out sometime?"  We both laughed about after about 5 seconds of silence

That is great, I've only told one of my friends myself and their response was pretty good, much more like 'that makes a great deal of sense' than I had expected. I think that alot of my fears may be unfounded and reading posts like this makes me even more confident.

I guess my friends weren't as forthcoming about their opinions as your's seemed to be but so far the friends I've told they've seemed pretty cool about it. One of them said it explained a lot of things.

It was awesome...we ended up getting drunk and going for a mexican just because we could. I feel like I've been really lucky so far, none of my friends have been at all negative, it really does make me feel so positive about things.

I'm glad to hear that your friends were so supportive. I've got a couple of really close friends that have stuck with me through transition, and it really helps. Shopping buddies are always great to have too.  😛
