It's been quite empowering. I'm still learning how to open up a little since I've kept things inside for so long, but this feels like a pretty safe place.

There's a lot of good information and good people here.  Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common.  Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.

It is very hard to open up and reveal this secret we've held so tightly for so many years.  That is sometimes one of the most difficult parts of becoming yourself.

Welcome Grimm i too am new. How did you come to get that name if you don't mind me asking?

I went over the rules, I'm trying to be careful about not making any faux pas.

And I don't mind explaining my name. The name I'd typically use is actually in use by someone else here and I didn't want to cause any confusion, so this is an online nick I sometimes use as well; I was really into fairy tales as a teen and the fascination never went away.
