Serbian pioneer sex change surgeon dies

Internationally renowned Serbian sex change surgeon Sava Perovic has died in Belgrade aged 72, local media reported Monday.

Funnily I only learned about this guy a few weeks ago and had read up on his methods. He was a genuine pioneer who laid the foundations for some of the more advanced techniques used by modern surgeons.

Very sad that he has gone.
