Barely two days after transgender Laxmi was thrown out of Bombay Gymkhana, Bombay High Court accepted an unusual request from Rekha, who is lodged in Nashik jail and is HIV positive. The court accepted Rekha's request to be transferred to Thane jail, where she will have two others from her ilk for company.

Rekha, in her petition, claimed that she was being ostracised in Nashik jail primarily because she is a ->-bleeped-<- and to add to it suffers from HIV.
