TOTWK: What was I thinking?

Dear all of you who see fit to be unkind, rude, and anonymous:

I never once claimed to speak for anyone but myself.

I asked questions that took on one facet of a very complicated issue. I already knew that it was not my place to speak about the effects of this film on transwomen. That is why I have never once spoken about it. I spoke about the issue that does affect me and all culture makers - that just because a grassroots group with a serious moral high ground doesn't like how we express ourselves, they can use that very real power to silence expression. Eg, censor.
