Hello everybody. I've been lurking here for a while and thought it was time to introduce myself.

I'be been a closet crossdresser since my early teens, half of my life so far. Recently I've started trying to figure out exactly where I stand on the gender scale.

I have joined a local trans group, to have a chance to be myself somewhere. I also came out to some of my friends last weekend. They only wondered why I hadn't told them sooner. I had expected at least a little drama, but they barely reacted.

My current personal goals are to lose some more weight (going well so far) and getting ready to go out in public someday (learning makeup, improving my wardrobe and training my voice). I also need to get used to calling myself Emma   :)

Hi Emma, welcome! :icon_flower:

I say this a lot, but if you can go see a therapist/psychologist/psychiatrist it really helps with figuring things out.
Sounds like things are going very well for you though. Those are good goals, I'm sure you'll do fine :).

Welcome to Susan's

Hiya Emma, :icon_wave:

Welcome from the UK.. :icon_flower:

Just don't get too hung up on the "definitions" of the gender scale... ::)

I for one, seem to spend my life falling through the "cracks"..or living in multiple definitions... :D

Just jump in and have some fun.... ;D

Hi Emma, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4400 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

It is nice when friends accept us for who we really are.

Hugs and Love,
Janet

Welcome to Susan's, Emma.  :icon_flower:

There's a lot of good information and good people here.  Each of our stories is unique but we have a lot in common.  Settle in, pull up a keyboard, and explore.

Be sure to look under the Announcements heading.  There you will find the rules we live by in this little world of ours:
Look through the other stuff there, too.

It is nice your friends accept you.  When I came out to mine I was a little disappointed it was so easy.  I mean, you get all worked up to tell them this earth-shattering news and then they still like you. ::)

I'm glad you are finding support.  Happy exploring. :icon_wave:
