spironolactone, testosterone androgens 0.0 ?

hi, i want to ask those taking spironolactone, tell time if they lowered the androgen testosterone, I'll start taking spiro and I'm scared because I want that I fall in blood androgens 0.5 ng / ml to levels of a woman bio, "Some girl you are taking spironolactone story I can say it has lowered the testosterone in blood? I would greatly appreciate responses

It dose lower it over time but it takes awhile,
Spiro competitively binds with the Androgen receptor which is where Testosterone goes to effect your body. when it binds to the androgen receptor in the pituitary gland in the brain it confuses the gland and it thinks there is much more T than there actually is which results in it shutting down the testis and levels dropping off gradually.

It is a hormone thing so it is YMMV.
I was down to less than 20 ng/dl in about a month on what would be considered a low dose of spiro for most folks. On the other hand I am aware of a woman on 4 times the amount of spiro I am takeing and she still is in male range T many months into HRT.
Yes spiro lowers T levels, but it might take some time.
