Compressing for running/working out

I have a question for whomever feels they can answer. Today I sucked it up, had a mini-panic attack (least I think that's what it was) and went to a store in search of *gasp* a bra. Namely a sports bra. I've been looking to get one just so I could jog/run with my pup and lose some weight. The last time I measured myself I got 36 F. I went to Lane Bryant thinking I was a 36 F and was measured while wearing a sports bra that was way too small (the back was creeping up and straps were horrible). She measured me as a 38 C, which I guess is a good thing...maybe my dysphoric feeling about my chest was wrong. I tried on a 40 C and it was massive and didn't hold anything in place.

I've been looking online and I know guys say the frog bra is the way to go for something that will bind but won't suffocate. What other options are there? I have a T-kingdom binder which I would not use for working out (too jiggly) a 997 and tri-top which are too tight for any work.

I truly do recommend the Frog Bra if you can't bind in a situation. I don't know if they'd have one for your size but I don't see why not. Just a warning- if you buy from Title Nine I swear you will get junk mail from them every week.

Also, congratulations on your chest size being smaller than you thought.

I use a frog bra for working out (though admittedly i don't work out often) and for when i'm not out and about trying to "pass" in public (IE at home).

According to the site i'm a large, but i got a medium and it works/worked perfect (when i first started wearing it though it was tight and left marks, a bit hard to get on) - it stretched out a bit in the first week and now it's almost perfect (though not as good as the tri-top, which i use when i'm out in public NOT working out).

I agree with the junk mail. I get it often. But small price to pay for a decent work-out binder.

Yep, I use the Frog Bra too. Wouldn't use anything else. I got a size too small, and it's almost as good as a binder.

From what the site says the bras run too small for my chest. I still don't like the jiggle when I run now though. It's gotten more pronounced since binding. Are there any options for an A chest?

Yeah, actually I have asthma too and have also been fine wearing my tri-top for running, biking, etc. My main problem is then it gets all sweaty and gross, and it's a pain when I have to wash it cause it's the only one I have. But I don't think it affects my breathing.

I had a frog bra a long while back, before I had my reduction. Worked lovely on the front, but... Anything with a racer style back hurts me. Like serious blinding back pain. The man boobies are really quite low set, which makes me look flatter than I am. Blessing I guess. Makes it hard to find sports bras though. Anyone know of a good compressing sports bra that has over the shoulder style straps? Even better if they're adjustable.

The breast reduction was covered by the insurance and I figured hey, at least it'll be easier to bind when they're not huge chesticles anymore. Welp. I can see my feet now at least. Problem is, serious tight binding hurts like crazy now. It's been four years and I've had a bit grow back and damn if I'm gonna have to look at them in the mirror again.
