Hey Everyone,

I am glad to have a place to talk.  My Endo started me one week ago on estrogen and spiro.  Emotionally I feel the same, but as of the last 3 days, my breasts are soooo tender and as I rub them the feel like there are nodules all over the place and they seem bigger.  I had some "male breast" there but, I wasn't expecting changes this fast and was wondering if any other ladies have experienced anything like this and if it slows down.  I was kinda of hoping the breasts would be slow and the rest of my body would fill out first.  Anyways thanks for reading and I hope to hear from some of you!

Fast isn't unusual if you are under about 30 when you start.

I was in my twenties and from what I can recall they pretty well started hurting on the very first day and were showing little buds by the end of the first week...

Hi BgirlAZ, :icon_wave:

Welcome to our little family. Over 4500 strong. That would be one heck of a family reunion.

Feel free to post your successes/failures, Hopes/dreams.  Ask questions and seek answers. Give and receive advice.

But remember we are family here, your family now. And it is always nice to have another sister. :icon_hug:

And be sure to check out these links ( MUST READS )

I am 2 years into HRT and I remember that I had pain when I began.  In fact I figured why young girls carried their books in front of their chest, during school.  :icon_yikes:  Some of the girls I worked with, who knew I was transitioning, would laugh at me with a clipboard covering the chest.  8)
Hugs and Love,
Janet

Thank you all so much for the words of encouragement it has been a long rocky road.  Just for more info, I am 28 so I thought that my progress would be slow, but as I said tender already and I don't know if I can say bigger is the rigth word but fuller.  Anywho glad to be here.

I am 42, 6 months into HRT and already at a solid A cup and definatly still growing. I noticed the pain in the first 2 weeks. I havent had a break from the boobie pain in months. It wakes me every morning.
The one thing that is true about HRT is; YMMV.
So it is said that if you know your enemies and know yourself, you can win a hundred battles without a single loss.
If you only know yourself, but not your opponent, you may win or may lose.
If you know neither yourself nor your enemy, you will always endanger yourself.

I have been on oestrogen for two weeks now.  My breasts feel heavier than they did and I have gained a disturbing amount of weight, about 15lbs.  People have been commentating on my sudden weight gain and I have a big roll of fat around my stomach that wasn't there three weeks ago.

I feel calmer and more centred these last two weeks but the serious weight gain is worrying.

I've been about a year on hrt. My nipples started to hurt after about three weeks, and at one point they hurt so badly I thought they might start to bleed. At week three one of my nipples became so swollen that it sort of inverted itself :o! After a few weeks the pain subsided.

Hey Girls,

I don't have an appointment with my Endo for another week.  It has now been about a week and a half almost two weeks and the pain and tenderness is gone.  Is this a bad thing? Does this mean my body is not responding anymore?

BgirlAZ :  No it does not.  I have been on HRT for 2 years now and the tenderness quit months ago.  But it was replaced by itching.  They are still growing.  Bras a little to tight. Tops fit differently.  They go through spurts.  Don't worry.
