Hi everyone!

I made it through the surgery on Tuesday with no problems, other than the 3 hour delay in the time. One of the last things I remember was walking up to the operating room. My nurse exclaimed to me how 'zen' I looked. She sat me on a cart and told me to wait for someone to come to get me.

About 10 minutes later Dr.Brassard came in through the door with a smile. He had me take my top off to mark my breasts then told me to relax, that he will be having a quick lunch then we will get started.

So that gave me a little time to get myself ready mentally and about 20 minutes later the anesthesiologist came in and walked me in. The table was in the middle of the room and he had me lie on my back with my arms. He loved my veins and had no problems with the IV. Within moments I lost consciousness and it was time to be born.

Everything went well, but I will post more later. I need to rest for now.

Thank you all for your well wishes, they meant alot to me.

much love,

Valerie

P.S. I am so happy.
