Resident in Ireland for eight years, Australian Shani Williams will perform at the Greyhound Hotel as Slick O at a special screening of Identities, the acclaimed Irish gender-bending doco in which she appears.

I really like Slick O's macho personality. While in boy drag, have you ever been hit on by gay men – or straight women?

Ha! Why thank you! Yes, indeed I have – by both in fact. One gig I did in Dublin we were performing with Gloria, Dublin's Lesbian & Gay Choir. One of the choir boys was approaching me thinking I was a hot boy only to put two and two together. We had a good laugh and swapped numbers to go for coffee all the same.
