I'm not sure if I'm going to stick with Yubel, it means little jewel in Japanese or if I'll go with Cybil/Sybil (SIH-Bull)/Cybal/Sybal (Sigh-Ball)...It has the bull tone to it and in which case my astrology sign is Taurus, so it connects to me.

But than there is also Serenity and Remedii (Remedy)...SO IDK...It'll take some time and tweaking and I don't know yet if I'm going to change my last name...So who knows.

Zack

So now my parents finally know that I'm trans I've changed my name to a completely male name, Zack.

-I think it suits me.
-It doesn't sound like any girls name, so cant be misinterpreted as another name when I say it.
-And it's not common (in UK at least) but not too out of this world either.

Tad

All about the Tad... some people started calling me it once upon a time... as in reference to Tadpole.. as I was the cute innocent guy. As I was looking around at names.. I wanted something with a good meaning to it.. and Tad had one. So Tad it is.

Hm, I chose my name not too long ago, actually. It's a lot different than my birthname (Kimberly  >:( ) but I think it suits me. It's Rowan.  :) It means "little red one" but it's also a celtic wood. Celtic society is really facinating to me, and Rowan is a really strong name, and what I want to emulate.

As many of us have, I realized that I was "different" when I was about 6.. What sticks out in my mind is the beginning of first grade. I made two friends very quickly, Lisa and Jessica,  and we hung out at every opportunity. As a result, I was teased mercilessly... called a sissy and a girl. I remember just not understanding at all... I just felt that playing with girls was the natural thing to do. It was Jessica that stands out as being the first person to really show me kindness when everyone else teased me... And that's why I adopted her name.

Fata Morgana

I browsed through a name day calendar to try to figure out suitable names to replace my old ones and finally decided to become "Joanna".

I had a really hard time deciding a new first name but then I realized I felt comfortable using "Joanna". It just fit perfectly somehow.  :)

Well, the first initial of my first name is D. Somewhere along the line early in our relationship, my wife started referring to me as D and everybody else picked up on it. Of course, I have noticed in emails when people would write me, that they didn't realize that it wasn't Dee. I kinda liked that people were referring to me in a name that could be interpreted as female, so I would never correct them. It is only today that I have "come out" and used it to refer to the female me. Funny thing is that today I bought some donuts with my son and the manage called out to the girl behind the register as Megan. For some reason that name struck a bullseye in my brain. It literally sent an "Aha!" shiver down my spine. So I am thinking of demoting Dee to a middle name. Megan was ranked #199 in the baby names list in 1971. Dee was actually much less popular in 1971 and had just about died out in usage. How does Megan Dee sound? Or even just Megan? Too young for a 39 yr old? Curse my teenage girl brain!

(Megan?) Dee

I think Dee sounds good but Megan Dee or just Megan does sound more... professional? Either sound great though :) I was cursed with the birth name Amanda. Just think of the kids when I finally got to choose my own clothes calling me A-man-duh! Finally in high school I met my ex who asked me a question I hadn't really thought of before... "What do you prefer to be called?", that's when I decided for sure on Alexander and I'm thinking of making my middle name Fredrick after my father though I haven't decided 100% on it.

My Name (WHICH WAS LEGALLY CHANGED YESTERDAY!!!!), Jocelyn
Was a name my mentor, art teacher, and second mother thought up.
I took me months to get a name that stuck with me and when i asked her
what she thought was a good name for me, the first name she said was "Jocelyn."
Because It's a 'J' Name (Like My Old One)
and is a Mixture of My past name and My 2 brothers names
which is Joshua, and Jaylen. I was pretty wowed at the depth of her Thought to my new Name lol
I Immediately Loved it. :)

Oh boy, another day another name! I thought Megan Dee was a nice compromise between my past and future, but then the wife suggested another one that I think might be even better. I mentioned to my wife that I have always loved the name Melanie, but I wouldn't ever use that because a very close friend has that name. Then the wife said, "How about Melody?" I love music and singing to so I think that might be just about perfect.

I don't remember how I chose my first name (Adrian); I just decided I liked it, I guess, and I've had it for a few years.  I chose my middle name, Aurelien, because I saw it in my French book and I thought it was really cool.

Sly

At first I thought I wanted my name to be Shane.  I wanted a normal name, but not something extremely common like Michael or James.  My given name is one that stopped being popular about 90 years ago, which I absolutely hated as a kid.  Long story short, I changed my mind and decided I liked having an anachronistic name.  I decided on Sylvester, since I still wanted a name that started with S.
Also, when I learned that Sly was a possible nickname for Sylvester, I thought it was just about the coolest nickname I had ever heard. :p

Sarah_aus

Well, I origanally chose Talitha, just really liked it, was pretty uncommon in my birth year, and to some degree now also, thinking about changing it to Anneke, or Ahneke
I met someone, who I just clicked with straight away, she seemed to beable to see my feminine side, even though I was at work, (FT Male), before I knew it we were talking away about everything, and though nothing was revealed, it was one of the best days I've had, Sadly she is moving away, but, I think I would like to adopt her name, I don't think she would mind, LOL.
Also, my Aunts name is Anne, and we have always been close...
What do you think, (I;ve just changed my avatar to a picture of me - albeit a morphed one, though I have only have a virtual make over and morphed to an artistic style, no photoshopped changes, the only real noticible change is my nose is smaller and eyes a little larger.

Love

I think that's really cool :) My favorite bird is a raven! Heh, I ask everyone what their favorite bird is when I meet them and it's really interesting to see what they pick.

JosephKT

I oddly chose Joseph for a very personal reason and for a very practical reason.  The personal one, being ridiculed and ostracized by my ethnic community so often, yet still feeling the need to protect and fight for them coupled with dreams of success led me to the name Joseph.  The practical, when I first started crossdressing I wanted a very unassuming, bland and forgettable name so I would not stand out in people's memories.  Korean Americans seem to name their male children by cutting out Bible names, putting them into a hat and taking whatever shows up.  Old English is popular too.  At the time I went by Joseph Kim, then because everyone would assume I was Japanese Joseph Takahashi.  I've only recently started to use my given last name.

Hi .

Having back ground that is not so normal & having names to reflect that .

Given names ,

  noel or  no-el , edward , manfried ,Von Reutchthos ,  Loch-head.
sirname is scotish .  meaning head of the Loch,

my forth name is Prussian denoteing my Prussian back ground .
& manfried should have been spelt mannfried as in german .

noel is female  as well,so was going to be noeleen & one of the  r. n s ,  in phuket said no it has to be noeleena*, & the a is stressed as in aaa & so thats my name & my 2nd is edwina last name is the same,
& i belive that my 3 rd & 4 names were all i was going to have till my mum put her foot down & said no , noel will be my first name . i only knew my father for the first 5 years ,

So when you go back 63 years youll know why . because of the 2 nd WW  or the end of it, so having a german name at that time was not so good ,

...noeleena...
